Evaluation task 5 

• A group of teenagers, preparing for their survival in a world ravished by monsters. 
• 2 boys and one girl 

We are appealing to a young age group between 16- 30, boys and girls as both are represented as strong characters. 

We didn't use any music, instead we used rain sound and only the teenagers walking around. Makes it very naturalistic and builds of the suspense 

Our insitution is called Temple Hill Pictures, Producer Sophie King, MAHT productions –Millie, Harvey, Alex and Theresa.  

Venatic-hunting for fun, with non diesgtic sound to indicate the commencement of a dark thriller film 

Lots of quick cuts to increase the pace of the sequence, sometimes slowed down the pace of the sequence so that suspense of the unkown danger could build before changing into quick shots again 

Unlinked the sound with Adobe premier, to make the sound clearer. Therefore we had freer allowance with the formation, length for example how long we wanted the sound for each shot and where to place it  

We used Sennheiser directional microphone on order to create foley sounds 

Pleasures the target audience can take from our sequence, identitdy, self identification , entertainment 

It is a scienfiction thriller and films like attack the block, or Jurassic park have similarites 

Codes and conventions – constant build of suspense, hand held camera for shaking scene, gives audience feeling of being disorientated, the aim of the protagonist to restore justice.  

Quick cuts, shadows , tension sound,  low key lighting or darkness
