Post Production- Editing
Editing is preparing material for publication by correcting, condensing or otherwise modifying it. To edit we used the programme Adobe Premier pro, sound editing software egGaragebandsSoundcloud and Font/ titling software. The key decisions we made were what clips to choose, where we would put them in the timeline and choosing the pace of the sequence. Through our individual timetables we alle were able to have adequate time to edit. I looked for clips that weren't smooth and cut it and put something else in for example a close up of the same clip.

In the first editing session we looked through all the material that can be seen on the top picture on the left top side. We made a copy of them to have safe logs and at the same time have a copies we could work with.

We used the little razor blade on the right hand side of the picture to cut bits of the clips and to insert other parts. When we clicked on the material we could shorten or lenghten them. When we clicked on them and pulled them they weren't lost so we could change them around however when cutting them, we had to search for the orignal clip and with the I (in) we started copying it and with o (out) we ended the copy that we wanted. We then rearanged the clips to tell the story and so it would make sense to the audience and started fitting length and sound.

In conclusion, I learned a lot during the editing process because the things that I had learnt in theory about editing or in short clips, I was finally able to but into praxis with our own thriller sequence and own idea. It has helped me to understand the material we have learned about filming better as I could see and have to take the consequences from mistakes me did with sound or filming in first place. I am happy with the outcomes so far, however we still have not finished and need to add in sound and music.
